Sloan Live at Lime

Sloan recently had the opportunity to record six alternate versions of their songs in an afternoon at Headgear Studios. The results of the session are available exclusively through the new Limewire store as a part of their "Live at Lime" series.

The tracks were recorded on the fly with Gregory Macdonald sitting in on piano throughout the session.

Sloan in Toronto, All Ages and Free!

We are happy to announce that Sloan will be performing a free, all ages show in Toronto on July 23rd. We have been invited to play alongside BMO Field as a part of MLS Soccer's All-Star week events.

According to a Toronto FC news release, "We've organized plenty of fun, interactive soccer and music and activities that will appeal to soccer fans of all ages."

Hopefully the Sloan fans in the audience can teach the footies a new stadium chant: "SLOOOO-AN"!

"Believe in Me" Climbing Radio and Video Charts

"Believe In Me" is the most added song on Canadian rock radio for the second week running. It is currently at number 18 on the charts.

We are happy to report that the video that Sloan filmed and edited themselves, with a budget that would put even Van Halen's "Jump" to shame, has been added in heavy rotation on Much More Music, and light rotation on Much.

In other encouraging news, college radio has been a great support as well with "Parallel Play" landing in the top ten for two weeks running.

Thanks to everybody for continuing to make requests for Sloan's music on your local stations.

NPR Song Of The Day

We are happy to report that "Believe In Me" is featured as NPR's Song of the day.

Believe In Me - Now In Full Colour!

We're very happy with the way this video turned out!

It's directed and edited by our own Chris Murphy, with second camera work by Kevin Hilliard.

Please help us to disseminate it around friendly corners of the internet.
